2 days ago, Hillary’s campaign was dead in water, she gain 12 delegates yesterday and ??

and obama still has what almost all acknowledge to be an insurmountable pledged delegate lead….and polls say he clearly is the candidate most able to beat John McCain in the general election. But today I saw Clinton in the news saying she is saying she is willing to consider letting obama be her VP running mate?

Woah !!!!! What is going on ??? did I miss something? This has the feel of a school yard bully/tug trying to steal some other kid’s lunch.

She’s only 101 pledged delegates behind Obama. She’s still got more superdelegates than him. Pennsylvania will be a victory for her next month, no doubt. The question is by how much of a margin? The percentage of voters in her favor will most likely increase during the next month and a half.

Hillary is a desperate witch. With the Texas caucus results coming in, she didn’t even win that state. Pathetic.

    NY Times today:

"Mrs Clinton has won by decisive margins in every big state that the Democrats must win to send their candidate to the White House. Mr Obama’s lead in the delegate count is based on his success in small states with little electoral significance or in Republican strongholds such as Alabama and Nevada where the Democrats have no chance of success."

The big question is does a delegate lead matter when neither can win before the convention? Not all of the super delegates are going to commit before the convention. If they form a block, they should be able to name both the presidential candidate and the vice presidential candidate.

The media clearly prefers Obama and has swayed the election. The super delegates may take that power away from the media. At least we elected both our delegates and super delegates.

If the Democrats counted all or nothing like the Republicans how many delegates would Obama have?????????????

About 500. He would be an also ran.

So why don’t you Obama delegates get off your high horse now before you get knocked off your high horse at the Convention.

Obama has lost California, Texas, New York, technically Florida, AND WILL NOT BE THE NOMINEE. It will not happen. The establishment will see to it. Go vote for Ralph Nader freaks.

    Hillary campaign was not dead

On Feb 5, I watch CNN
They said, she will not win anything until March
February is Obama month, March is her month
She should take over the delegate lead by the end of March

The only way to stop it, is if she lost either Texas or Ohio
    She did not

If they were right about Clinton, on February 5, then by April, she will have the lead

I think no one will have enough delegates at the end

Obama knew that, that is why he spent so much time and money in Texas

So, if the CNN people were right, in a few weeks, Clinton should lead

    Time will tell

Obama still has about 90 more delegates than Hillary. Okay, so how does this mean a victory for Hillary?

To be crowned the Democratic nominee the candidate needs 2025 delegates. Hillary has effectively put the brakes on Obama and ensured that he cannot reach the magic number of needed delegates. Just holding a small delegate lead will not automatically give Obama the nomination. Neither candidate can get 2025 delegates.

What will happen is that the delegates from Michigan and Florida will have to be counted. This will mean they will have to have "do-over" primaries in Michigan and Florida. When that happens Hillary will be the favorite. Hillary will also hold the majority of "super-delegates"… Do you want to take bets on who will win the nomination now?
